Hello And Welcome!
My name is Brillion Adams and I am the owner and primary therapist of Intuitive Transformations, LLC. The reason why I started this practice is largely due to my own experiences in reaching a point in my life where I knew I needed support and guidance, yet struggled to find a therapist that resonated with me. It was challenging to find someone that was relatable, open minded, used progressive treatment approaches, and most importantly, was able to understand where I was coming from.
Because of this experience, it is important to me to provide therapy that is based in a more personable, modern, and multifaceted approach that is catered to the individual based on their present challenges and current goals. I am transgender and I am passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community. However, after receiving my masters degree from Fordham University my journey has afforded me opportunities to work with a variety of different populations with various challenges including; Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, Bi-polar Disorder, Substance Use and Abuse, Borderline Personality Disorder, Men's and Women's Issues, etc.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter how you identify or see yourself in society because the collective human experience is that we have been robbed of the ability to live a life based in the tranquility of the remembrance and authentic embodiment of who we are. And in case you forgot, you are entitled to the peace of knowing and being your wonderful self. So don't waste one more minute in that hurt and pain you have been carrying around because that's a minute you could have had in the freedom of being yourself.
